HiTT Malta has once again asserted its dominance in Maltese table tennis, securing its 7th consecutive Malta First Division Table Tennis League title. The victorious H.A. WH Middle East team played a stellar season, solidifying HiTT Malta’s reputation as the premier table tennis club on the island.

A Season of Intense Competition
This year’s season was one of the closest in recent history, with fierce competition from MITTC Butterfly and Alpha Gewo pushing HiTT Malta to its limits. Despite the tough challenges, WH Middle East lost only one match all season, falling 4-3 to MITTC Butterfly in their first encounter, with the decisive point coming in the doubles match.
However, the team bounced back when it mattered most, securing the league with a crucial 4-2 victory over MITTC Butterfly in the return fixture. The decisive match was won by Olympian Peto Zsolt, who sealed the title with an impressive 3-1 performance.
