HiTT Academy Malta welcomed Polish player and coach Karol Dzida on 8 October, marking the start of a two-week trial and a new opportunity for our players to learn from his experience.
The plan is for Karol to join the academy on a longer-term basis from November, following the trial period. He will contribute both as a coach and as a player in HiTT’s competitive team.

Experience from Polish table tennis
Karol is an active player competing for a club in Poznań, Poland, and brings coaching and junior-development experience from the Polish table-tennis system. His arrival gives HiTT players the opportunity to work with someone who understands the demands of competition and the importance of building strong foundations from a young age.
As a coach and teammate, Karol will bring that experience into training and onto the match table. We look forward to seeing him challenge himself in Maltese table tennis and contribute to the development of the academy’s players.
Investing in our players’ development
HiTT’s commitment to developmental excellence means investing in the people and training environment that help players progress. The planned addition of full-time coaching support reflects our ambition to give youngsters and established competitors the best possible support in each session.
We want our players to develop more than technique: to think clearly, respond under pressure and approach new challenges with confidence. Karol’s coaching and playing role is another step towards that goal.
Welcome to HiTT, Karol!
The welcome announced for 8 October opened this new chapter. Over the trial period, players will have the opportunity to get to know Karol and work with him at the academy.
We wish Karol a warm welcome to Malta and look forward to the weeks ahead.
