13/05/2013 Hi-Impact Table Tennis Academy invests in foreign coaching

HiTT Academy will be bringing their second foreign coach only five weeks after its inception this week. Not a new face to Malta Zeljko Dimitrijevic Macak is being flown over from Serbia to form part of the HiTT coaching team and work in close collaboration with the HiTT Academy . Working hand in hand with head coach Mario Genovese, his stay will last from the 15th May up to the 10th of June. This will leave the students in quality hands as Mario Genovese travels as head coach of the Maltese National Team at the World Championships in Paris. HiTT students Therese Genovese and top rank Andrew Gambina will also represent Malta at this event.

Both Mario & Macak will be working on a program that will maximize performance to get students ready for the intensive summer program.

Macak has extensive experience in coaching some of the most talented juniors in Serbia, as well as talented players in the region of Central Serbia. He has also collaborated with the MTTA to help prepare the Maltese Junior National Team for international tournaments last year. This initiative will give the students more quality coaching and training sessions as they gear up for the Senior National Championships in June.

“The idea is to have a more of an International feel at HiTT giving the students a professional and rigorous detailed ongoing program working on personal deficiencies that are targeted step by step to achieve maximum results”
